To provide high quality products and service,
we try our best to satisfy our every customer through continuous improvement.
Remaining innovative
Taiwan Bor-chuann (BC-racing) was built in 1999. In the early days, the main business project was manufacturing private label coilover. Until 2004, we started our own brand, BC. In the same year, we successfully exported our products and spread our brand all over the world. Now, BC is one of the most famous private label manufacturers for several well-known coilover brands. With years of cooperation, BC has become an inseparable partner with other coilover brands. At the same time, BC also makes MIT products glow internationally and let the world see Taiwan's strength of OEM.
01
Forging
After being forged, the strength and resistance of aluminum alloy will become higher, and the weight will be lighter simultaneously. After the blank of aluminum alloy is extruded by the forging machine, the molecular density is greatly increased and extended to a large area, the basic appearance of the wheel disk is shown.
02
Flow Forming
The outer part of the wheel is also called “Rim”, after the forging process, the basic shape of wheel is disk-like, and it needs to be squeezed and stretched by a flow-forming machine to form a hollow cylinder. During the process of flow forming, the rim is going through the squeezing again which makes the density increase over again, so the wheel becomes more strengthened.
03
Heat treatment
After the process of heat treatment at the temperature from 200 to 500 celsius degrees, the molecules inside of the wheel tends to be more even and stabilized, which relieves the stress from the mechanical forging process and restores its elasticity, increasing the strength of aluminum alloy and the impact resistance.
04
Lathe Cutting
This process mainly focuses on cutting the material on the rim part by lathe cutting machines, and creating the basic shape of requested wheel design and making the wheel meet the need of required specification.
05
Milling
This process is mainly focused on refining the shape of the whole disk, such as the number of spokes and the details of a wheel design. The factors above are all formed into a predetermined design by a milling machine. If it’s the case for monoblock design, it has a bigger need of volume and depth on its travel capacity, so the milling needs to be carried out by a higher level milling machine like 4-axis or 5-axis milling machine.
06
Grinding and
Polishing
After the wheels are painted, they are grinded to bring out the perfection of the color paint. In this step, we will also check the quality of the paint spraying after painting. Only by continuous inspection of each BC Forged wheel, the BC Forged wheel can be delivered to the customer in the best condition.
07
Painting,
assembly
Including wheel valve stem, center cap and two-piece wheel assembling, etc., are completed in this area. In order to ensure that the torque of each screw of the two-piece wheel is the same and that there is no missing, the process of fixing the screws is done manually and with the help of a torque wrench. After the fixing is done, a mark must be made for future inspection of the screw looseness, and the torque wrench will be calibrated regularly.
08
Packaging and Assembly
Following the completion of the manufacturing process, the wheel can be packaged and shipped. To avoid damage to the surface of the wheel disk during transportation, covering the disk with a round cloth is groundwork. It is also critical to place shock-absorbing material inside the packing box so that the wheel will not be damaged.
09
Radial Fatigue
Test
This process is intended to test the ability of the wheel to sustain heavy loads from radial direction to see if any repeated metal fatigue happens, and it is carried out on a testing machine which simulates rotating wheels on a normal driveway.
10
Wheel Cornering Fatigue Test
This process is intended to test the ability of the wheel to sustain heavy loads from side direction to see if any repeated metal fatigue happens, and it is carried out on a testing machine which simulates rotating wheels on a normal driveway.
11
Impact Test
Machine
This process is carried out on a testing machine which simulates the wheels rotating on driveway, and it is intended to test the ability of the wheel to withstand the impact from hitting a pothole or a pavement, and monitor if any cut through crack or tyre leaking issue happens.
12
Immersion Leak
Test Machine
This process is intended to detect any air leaking problem with the valve stem, and the test setup consists of immersing the wheels in a water tank with high pressure air added to the valve to monitor if any air leakage happens.
